Rd 1- Micah Parson, ILB, Penn State
Rd 2- Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky
Two bad boys to start the draft - seems un- Broncos like. I would draft Parsons at 9 if available - as I think he is objectively the best defensive player in the draft and Jewell and AJ - have to be re-contracted into next season. As for his bad boy image I do think this Bronco defense locker room is a safe place for him to learn the ropes.

Joseph - has a lot to learn - so I don't see an instant starter here - I'm not sure he can hang with good route runners - but he tackles well - at 40 - I think he is a reach - in the 3rd round he would be a steal.

I'm doing a mock with some guys and those are my exact first 2 picks with Denver. Don't love Joseph in the 2nd, but couldn't trade down.

I feel like Joseph is overrated in this draft based on physical tools and not so much what he has shown. I feel like we already have Joseph on our team in Michael Ojemudia, who has the physical tools to succeed in the NFL.
