Exactly. That's why I told Ill that he was wrong when he said "anyone can qualify for the U.S. Open." Probably one out of a thousand golfers has a 1.4 or less. All you have to do is look at the list of clowns in the Players to know what a weak field it is. If you don't qualify for a WGC event, you have no business being in the Players, not it they want to attempt to turn it into a Major.You can qualify for the US Open with a 1.4 handicap.
Nobody even close to that bad is getting anywhere near The Players without a ticket.
