please god no

ryan is staying in atlanta according toall reports here
dak wants 40 mil per or more
watson costs too much
hell no on wentz
fitz >>>>>>>dalton/biscuit
jimmy g can stay in SF

just draft someone and hope for the best and use fitz until hes ready :suds:
Ryan will stay until the draft.

Dak may want $40M but his knees say $25M

Watson will be in New York

Wentz has pretty much been traded to rthe Colts

Jimmy G will be somewhere but not in SF because Lynch wants him gone

Fitz has made his intentions known to BB. Don't get pissed if he ends up in Foxboro. That means Cam won't be back.
Fitz is 10x the passer and a near equal runner as Cam.

The problem with Wentz is that $144M, 4 year contract tat escalates with the cap. He's never played up to it.

In all honesty, If BB could get him for a 3rd and Gilmore, I'd love to see Matt Ryan finish his career in Foxboro.
He'd have a good OL in front of him, BB could draft and sign WR free agents and there's a stable of RBs to help. Getting rid of Gilmore and cannon would provide an extra $26M of free agent spending money that would land a bunch of young, solid veterans.
I'm not talking about paying that contract!

Ryan? Why are you so fond of old men? Wait, never mind.....

Obviously you're not a gambler.....
Probably the most right thing you've ever posted. I'm a risk taker for sure, but don't see the rewards of gambling worth the certain unknowns. But there is an element of smarts with gambling and I don't put in enough homework for those smarts to come into play.

Well if BB wasn't willing to actually do what "league consensus" was for Stafford (giving a 1st round - BB only offered a 2nd rounder and a player) then I don't see him trading for any QB and going into the 2021 season with Cam Newton under center and maybe maybe a 3rd/4th round QB that no team would want as a "project"

But don't worry, BB said this off season will be like no other and "things will happen" riiiight

Fitz is a likable guy. If we have to have another season of not having our next franchise QB I'd be ok with him.

Cam was likable too, how well did that work out for us? Some days Fitz-magic, others Fitz-tragic, but most of the time Fitz-mediocre.

Fitz-mwdiocre is better than 'I think I'll run', Cam.

Because they know their limits and can teach newbies, They've pretty much done everything, right and wrong.

Well put. I actually gamble for a living during one point in my life. It was a lot of work. You had to know all the horses - not just the ones you thought should win.

There were very smart bets I did not cash.
There were also lucky days when I could seem to do no wrong. Lucky.
Better to be lucky and win than smart and lose.
If you could be smart and lucky?????

Funny, I was specifically thinking horse racing when I posted that... and you are right about needing to know a lot more than just the horse you are betting on.

You guys are respectfully a QB and WR away from running the division again. Jets suck, Dolphins and Bills may regress at least for a year or two now that tendencies on film are abundant

Actually a QB and couple of WRs would be bit closer. AND a TE.

We have no hands.....

This is fitting for this thread, though it requires time travel...

BK posted a quote from this hack a few days ago... This article is a hit piece softened a bit...

The premise is the Pats started rebuilding expecting TB to be done after 2018, not that everyone shouldn't plan for their 40 yr old star to keep playing like a 30 yr old star indefinitely. Everything I read here sounds like the Pats were being responsible, Brady wanted more time (and I do believe he earned that consideration) and inevitably everyone could not eat their cake and have it too.

But Breer (or is it Greer, whatever) says "The Pats did it to themselves".
