I thought it sucked..
The first one is hit or miss to different people, but by the third or fourth one, it gets objectively amazing.

Batman: Under The Red Hood: 3.5/5. Good storyline, but I would skip this one and go for the far better movie, which is amazing (4.5/5)

Spider-Man: Blue: 4/5 stars. Pretty dope, just wish it was a little longer. The Spider-Man mythos is my favorite superhero story/series

Amazon is having a huge discount sale on many DC and Marvel trade paperbacks (kindle versions)

I really don't need anymore since I haven't read all the ones i bought during the last sale....but damn they look so good.

Lots of the new justice league and batman titles.

I'll get the Steve Rogers in trade at some point.

Iron Man is dead to me.

Both Iron Man series are still well-written, although the art on the Infamous series isn't as good as it was on International.

isn't Stark still in it? He just handed over the mantle. I imagine he is still there as a mentor.

I've been reading a lot of Mark Millar's work, lately. The Kick-Ass series, Wanted, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Superior and I have Nemesis coming in the mail...

Wanted was excellent, much better than the movie.

Just looked up Superior. Looks pretty cool.

My bad, I read Superior and have Nemesis coming in the mail...

Damn, that sounds good. Thanks for sharing a few cool options for me to add to my amazon cart! lol

I'm impatiently waiting for Invincible to end to buy the Omnibi for the entire run.

I used to read a lot of Marvels, but they have really been disappointing me the last year or so. First, they kill off Gorilla Man - one of my favorite under-utilized characters; then they knock off James Rhodes, then kill Sub-Mariner in a very unsatisfactory fashion, murder Bruce Banner, then bring back Subby in an equally unsatisfactory manner! And I understand that Henry Pym is also deceased, although I wasn't reading anything during the dissolution of the original Marvel Universe, so I don't know how he met his end.

And a lot of the current books are awful. I don't know how many of them might actually have good stories because I'm not reading a comic book that has art that looks like it was intended for a kid's manga series! Marvel has pretty much abandoned it's longtime fans of 30, 40 & 50+ years in favor of courting the 8-to-13 year-olds who will probably move on to something else in a year or two. It really pisses me off.

From what I've been told DC new 52 was really good.

It killed book sales.

And now they did Rebirth and they're even higher, but the quality is less clear.

Not a surprise to me.

But honestly at this point I read Batman, Superman and Justice league with some other rando trades thrown in.

No problem, I like to give original character ideas a shot

Agreed. I kinda wish more of them would get a full series though rather than just a one shot.

basically, you want whatever Scott Snyder touches in the New 52. Dude did an awesome job with Batman.
