I miss the old place....everything just seems too "upper class" and pricey everywhere.... I miss the common man experience I got at the BBA/CAA...

CAA was a dump, The Rock is a palace. I love the arena. It's nice and steep so there are literally no bad seats, and I've pretty much sat everywhere except the goal bar.

I don't think parking is all that difficult (people thought it would be a challenge initially).

I never feel unsafe in the area around the arena.

Food is good. I like the concourses, especially the Devils themed murals and most of all the High School jerseys. The fire and ice bars are pretty sweet. I don't regret the move from CAA in the slightest.

I've never really had that vibe from my experiences.

What I don't like about it is the location. If it was still in the Meadowlands it would be perfect.

That location is horrible. Its impossible to get there without a car.

I remember taking more time to get out of the parking lot at Meadowlands than leaving from The Rock, but I guess that depends on where you park.

Love the building..hate that its in Newark though. And its NYC prices in Jersey so that knocks it down a few points too. Getting there by train is easy from where I live but still..havent gotten out there yet this season but when I go for Niedermayer night Im sure it will look the same as it did when it first opened. No complaints with the actual building.

Leaving the continental arena took forever. We finally figured out it was better to tailgate after the games instead of sitting in traffic. But that was tough on a Tuesday night with work the next day. I don't miss old place just the memories and success.

I got 4 little kids so besides hockey I also take them to events like circus or the Disney on ice. I always have a choice between east Rutherford and Newark. The choice is always The Prudential Center.

Heh, I'm not a big wrestling fan, but my college roommate was crazy about it, so I know all that stuff from back then. First thing I thought of when I saw the thread title was the IT DOESN'T MATTER quote.

fact is that new jersey is a car state i'm going to say probably 75% of fans drive to the game still...just doesnt make sense to take a train. i live drive distance like 10mins from the arena if i wanted to take the train it would take me about 45mins to get there...just not worth it.

devils wanted to make this place msg WEST and it isnt close nor will it ever be. they should've just built this thing in the meadowlands IMO.

i will say the only thing i dont like about the rock is the leg room i'm 6'6 and it sucks sitting in anything but the lower bowl. another thing i dont like.....how can they only have TWO entrances to the building? TWO MAIN entrances?
