Was hoping it was the jazz/rock singer who was a member of Santana during their heyday.
But he passed away in 1999.

my brother played a lot of Santana in our room,the drumming stood out more than Carlos,s guitar imo.

As a drummer/percussionist myself, I can totally relate.
And their keyboard work from album to album was always fantastic too though...specifically during the Gregg Rolie era.

Was digging the first Journey album earlier this week, first time hearing it. Very different band in that era.
