Looking at all of the top music lists of the year and its not hard at all to see why Trump won. Radiohead looks like hard rock these days compared to everything else on these lists and their new album is painfully slow. Make rock music great again. Or at least give it some exposure.

Not the best year for music, but there was decent stuff released.

Some of my faves from the year, in no order...

Pixies - Head Carrier
Megadeth - Dystopia
The Claypool/Lennon Delirium - Monolith of Phobos
Suicidal Tendencies - World Gone Mad
The Dillinger Escape Plan - Disassociation
Prong - X(No Absolutes)
Bob Mould - Patch the Sky
Killswitch Engage - Incarnate
Violent Femmes - We can Do Anything
Bob Dylan - Fallen Angels
Eric Clapton - I Still Do
Anthrax - For All Kings
NOFX - First Ditch Effort

Like none of them are on the Spin, Pitchfork, Metacritic lists. The only people making best of lists are guys that died.

I intentionally left out Bowie, cuz I figured he would've already been on yer lists. Plus, I haven't really listened to it that much yet.

Just looked at Spin and Pitchfork...

I guess I ain't hip?:noidea: I have only heard of a handful of the "bands" mentioned. Radiohead, Bowie and a few hip hop artists, which, I'm sorry, but the day I put Beyonce in my favorite albums list, please just take me out behind the woodshed and put a fucking bullet in my head.

Dillinger Escape Plan was 22 on Metacritic. Bob Mould, 50.

I made the cut!!!!!

The Pixies could put out a fart soundtrack, and it SHOULD still be on any list.
