D2 lost me a while back with the gear grind.
It is. I have a Destiny 1 file with basically all of the gear you could want and the 1200 hours or so it took to get it.It is a grind, but the mechanics are great.

Destiny 2 I've played for about 100 hours but it's hard to get excited about anything new they do when it's mostly the same weapon types firing at mostly the same enemy types.
I used to play a lot more video games when I was single. One of my friends has been playing destiny 1 and 2 routinely since 2014. I'm sure he has doubled or tripled that number. He found a wife who plays Destiny, though. I suspect that is rare.Mostly I like to do shit with buddies online. Any "god" gear I get to drop is a bonus.
1,200 hours? Holy crap.
I had just under 4000 hours in D1 lmao. I could not overcome how awful D2’s launch was. Tried to get back in with Forsaken and Shadowkeep, only lasted a bit. Will never play it again I’m guessing.I used to play a lot more video games when I was single. One of my friends has been playing destiny 1 and 2 routinely since 2014. There really isnt anything quite like Starcraft if you're talking PS4. Xcom2, Divinity Original Sin 2 and Wasteland 3 are all great games that have that PC feel to them but they're all also better on PC. Of the three I think Xcom2 is the most accessible and also has the most replay value.looking for something semi low key. Something similar to starcraft would be awesome. Or just anything a mid 30’s loser would enjoy.

Im the mid 30’s not him, hes 13 lol. But i appreciate the recommendations. I will check them out in the coming days here. The main area where the PS4 excels is cinematic games. Imo the open-world cinematic games are better than the linear ones for the most part but lots of options there in both areas. Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, RDR2, Yakuza 0, etc. The two strongest genres overall, though, for mid 30s losers would be online games (Fornite, Warzone, Destiny 2, Final Fantasy XIV, Monster Hunter World) or the much cheaper roguelikes (Hades, Slay the Spire, Risk of Rain 2, Spelunky, Binding of Isaac, Dead Cells)
If he hasnt played Witcher 3 then thats a good place to start in general. Its cheap
13? Ah, I misread that. When I was that age I was playing games like Sonic Mania and Rayman Legends. Games are a bit different these days.cool thanks. Ill look them up. I hvent games in years and years.

Thats fair. Its definitely geared towards teens based on merchandising.Fortnight is targeted to dudes in their 30s? I thought it was more geared to teens and mid-20s.
Never played it myself, but I have watched my nephews play…
Don’t they play duck duck goose and tiddlywinks? How about Lincoln Logs?Thats fair. Its definitely geared towards teens based on merchandising.
Tbh, Im not really sure what kids are playing these days.
My gamer group of friends had a combined 6 girls and zero boys.Don’t they play duck duck goose and tiddlywinks? How about Lincoln Logs?
Madden 20 was the first one Id played since...ps2?..and I was able to pick it up pretty seamlessly. Its football. There are some weird quicks and extra modes but since you know football then you should be fine.I used to play madden all the time. I havent in like ten years. How hard is this gonna be to learn to pick it up again.
worth just buying madden 22 or whatever?
