What are some great CFB coaching trees?

TW went 21-15 in three years at Notre Dame
JLS went 22-26 in four years at MSU.

So in one extra year, JLS accumulated one more win.

What recruiting classes was MSU getting at that time? I am pretty sure ND was Top 10, if not Top 5. And according to NFL Draft, ND had far more NFL talent. TW should have never had a losing season at all.

It's not so much how you did with the previous coaches players, it's what they left behind after they were fired.

That was one thing about Tom Osborne...his assistants didn't ever really "branch out" so he doesn't have much of a tree. Our coaching staff was relatively intact for a very long time, which certainly helped with our run in the 90s, but doesn't make for a great coaching tree. Frank Solich (fired from Nebraska, HC at Ohio seemingly since the beginning of time) and Craig Bohl are the highlights. Turner Gill flopped at KU but has done a decent job at lower level schools.
