I still don't trust Florida goaltending (mainly Luongo's health) but Florida is one. That top 6 is just too good and they have a stud number one on D.

Chicago I think bounces back. A longer offseason benefits all of those guys.

Going way off the board, the Coyotes. Thought they played solid hockey towards end of the year, I think a bunch of young guys finally take the next step and it's possible Galchenyuk plays well after getting out of that mess in Montreal.

When you can't draft anybody decent outside of lottery picks (and then you trade away said picks for a hill of beans), you've got nobody to blame but yourself for a lack of depth.

The problem too is they don't seem to have improved the development system either. Of all the lower-round guys they've drafted since the McDavid draft the only guy I can maybe convince myself may bear fruit is Ethan Bear and even he isn't exactly indicative of a bull market.

In 10 years Lovejoy has averaged over 20 minutes a game twice and had 100 or more hits 3 times. Edmonton's management would probably think he is worth RNH and a 2nd next year.

I was in Vegas the year that Edmonton made the finals against Carolina. A young lady ran through the casino topless with Edmonton Oilers stickers as pasties. I really didn't care if she was arrogant or smug at that point.
