True dat. That's a lot of money to be paying a guy for 20-25 goals and 50-55 points who aside from one year (one playoff series really) doesn't really do all that much in the playoffs.

Also a guy who is going to be 33 by the time next season starts.

I've always thought it's unfair for West Coast teams to have to disrupt their routines to put the games on in Prime Time in the East. I know that's not his prime concern, but still. It sucks.

What games were put on prime time out here that shouldn't have been? Hell, I would've loved to have caught more of the Oilers' games but I don't think any of them were on earlier than 10 eastern.

As for Randy's schedule bitching, you wind up with a schedule crunch when your series goes 7 games. Get over it.

Starting in the Conference finals usually. The games often start 7:30 or 8:00 Eastern no matter where played.

That's 4:30 on the left coast, the time players are used to arriving. If it went to game 7, it would have been at 7:30 EST in Anaheim on Wednesday.
