Pop and Duncan getting into it, frustration of not being able to hang athletically setting in.

The healthy home team has blown out the other now in 7 consecutive games.
The road team has looked helpless verus a healthy home team.
This has nothing to do with the crowd

Ibaka is definitely the biggest factor

Wow what a difference one player made.. who would be a better matchup against Miami? Both teams want revenge.

The SPURS did not have Kawahi Leonard and Tiago Splitter

Maybe its possible that Freaking Kawahi Leonard and Tiago Splitter might make a difference???

The only games OKC played in SA versus a full strength roster was in game 1/game 2

The health of the visiting team seems irrelevant.

If the home team is healthy, they almost always win...and usually by blowouts.

BS, this goes back to the 2012 playoffs. When the Thunder are healthy and Westbrook plays like he is the Thunder win, period.

Can we stop having blowouts this round already?

In 2012, the Spurs were 3-1 at home
In 2012, the Thunder were 4-1 at home

So, it does go back to 2012

The home team has completely and utterly dominated this series when healthy.

Its just a crowd. Thats like a 5 pt swing tops.

Ive seen this type of thing a lot in college basketball. Mizzou and Kansas used to play every year and the home team usually wins but there is also a second major factor. Mizzou was always based around undersized lineups, passing the ball around, getting to the rim for easy buckets, etc, while Kansas had the elite athletes and they always had a shot blocker that really disrupted everything Mizzou tried to do. It was like night and day watching the team play against legit shot blockers and playing against other teams. Obviously the crowd matters. But its more than that.

Ibaka gives Tony Parker issues and he gives Duncan lots of issues while Perkins does okay.

Wrong, the Thunder swept after going down 0-2.

Except when they play Lebron and Wade :laugh3:

My main disclaimer with the Spurs has always been this...somebody whose name is not Tony Parker has to be able to consistently create offense off the dribble

They should be healthy.

They have been dominant at home in the last 4 years when healthy versus OKC.
They have completely sucked on the road in the last 4 years versus a healthy OKC.

The healthy home team is 19-2 in the last 21 games.

The major diffrence is that the OKC one win was in the 2012 playoffs.
The Spurs one win was in the 2012 regular season.

And it was far more valuable a win.

It's ridiculous how Westbrook drives the lane .... initiates the contact by running into the defender and get's the call 90 percent of the time... Man I wish NBA refs would just let um play more and stop rewarding that BS...
