The Spurs are playing some of the best basketball I've ever seen right now.

The Spurs are in a zone. I don't know if this will last through the finals or even the next game, but the way they are playing, they'd be beating Indy or Miami about the same way.

Na miami defense doesn't allow 120 points nightly and miami has some pretty darn good individual defenders unlike okc

Doesn't matter. The Spurs are just in one of those zones where no one can touch them. Like I said, it may not even last as far as the next game, but right now they are playing pretty much perfect basketball. Teams just get on runs like that sometimes and it doesn't matter who they play.

I'm not sure where the Harden talk is coming from.

Dude is a bum and has been bounced in the first round two years in a row. Last thing the Thunder needs is another ball hog that can't defend.

While I can't disagree with the premise of picking the Spurs in a series over the Heat...
It wouldn't go down anything like this.
The one thing the Heat bring to the table ( occasionally) is a swarming defense unparalleled to any other team the Spurs have faced or even exists in the NBA.

I do agree that the Spurs can get into unique team offensive rhythm if you let them settle into it.
They just don't make mistakes.

If ibaka was here, these games would be way more competitive

Harden is far from a ballhog and is more of a pg than Westbrook

It's another person the spurs would have to worry about on offense and they wouldn't be able to score in the paint this easier due to okc not having any rim protectors

That's basically my point. They have settled into one of those rhythms (although this is extreme even for them) and when they get into one of these, it doesn't matter who they are playing. So, if they got into the same type of rhythm vs. Indy or Miami, they'd be beating them like a drum too.

Fortunately for OKC and whoever they play in the finals (if they get there), they can fall out of the rhythm just about as quickly.

Ibaka isn't a 30 point difference. Spurs are just executed perfectly.

Most of what the Spurs are getting is because of how perfectly they are running their offense and moving the ball. When an offense is clicking like that, there's not much a defense can do except wait it out.

Harden is not the right fit but they need one or two more players
