Thorton channeling his inner McTavish playing that whole shift without his helmet.
And he gives them the go ahead goal. The weasel ties it.

We all might watch, but I imagine the NHL is secretly crying about a potential Lightning v. Sharks Final.

Biggest difference would be moving it out to the West Coast, which could mean later start times, and losing some of the LEast coast audience.Do you really think it matters if its the Blues or the Sharks ratings wise?

Those have all featured a west coast team though. They may not do it, but I wonder if they'd move games back to 7:00 ET so that they don't end late on the east coast. But they haven't been doing that so far. They've been 8/9PM EST start times. Sucks for the west coast folks because that means the games are starting 5/6PM local time.
As a hockey fan, I'd love a Sharks/Lightning matchup. Two good non-flashy coaches, teams without some hyped megastar to be crammed down our throats, good young goalies and good stories for both teams. Drouin's chance at redemption, Jumbo Joe's payoff. Good stuff.

Agreed, I think this would be a heck of a series. Maybe Stamkos makes an appearance in the SCF if Tampa gets there. I'd also like to see Joe Pavelski win the Conn Smythe and Tony Gallagher eat a huge plate of weasel.
As things stand right now, I'd say that he and Kucherov have to be the respective favorites if we end up with a SJ/TB final.Agreed, I think this would be a heck of a series.
