Defense is going to be critical to deciding this one, I think. I expected a ton of hitting in this series, but it’s only leading to SJ opportunities and STL breakdowns.

STL has to demonstrate why they belong in the Conference Finals next game, win or lose.

I think after the Vegas series, in the hit department i think the sharks will be fine. If the first game is any indicator the blues wont be able to keep that type of play up with all the turnovers they are having

It's not as verboten as it once was, I still think with only a one goal lead, you want your guy to do his best to gain the red line before attempting a shot. However, up by 2 or more, shoot from anywhere.

Agreed. You’d think a snapshot off the faceoff was a dying art or something.

Risking an icing and giving the other team a potential scoring chance, particularly 6-on-5, would seem a bad idea.
