Welker must still love the game. Sometimes retirement is a difficult decision for a person that is living their dream. His knowledge as a WR has been impressive. He used to read defenses and often find a way to get open during his years with the Pats. I'm sure he still has something to offer the Fins, although Landry is a younger version of him therefore it would be somewhat of a duplicate signing. Jennings may be the better choice. He is two years younger and has only missed 1 game in his last two years. Jennings has a little more size to play in an outside WR spot. The Fins have shopped around in free agency and appear to be waiting to get what they think is a reasonable offer. It makes sense. The upcoming draft is stacked with quality WR's that could be acquired for less.

Agreed Jennings a far better choice but they could just be posturing waiting for a better deal. Either way they'll draft a WR..
