I'm not even going to make a thread for it. We shouldn't have to watch such a shitstorm for Monday night football. This game should've been changed to something else. Hell. We should like, watch something stupid and talk about it. Like maybe the History channel or something? :noidea:

But yeah, pretty damn sure not even the Ravens and Browns fans want to see this shit.

I'm going with the get up at 4:30 AM, leave for work at 5:00 AM, come home at 7:00 PM, crack a cold one, watch the first Qrt, wipe tears away from laughing at the two teams, then fall asleep before halftime.

That's almost an identical schedule to mine, except I'm home by 5 PM.....

I've been switched back into operations so I work out of the main office now, instead of from my house. Main office is in Raleigh 1.25 hours away. Add the fact that one of the reasons I was moved back into operations is the lack of experience in the dept, ie numerous fd up projects need to be brought back into line, = getting home late.

Once projects I have to take over get sorted out and I move on to newly assigned projects I'll have a much more normal schedule and be home 5 - 5:30ish

I've got a 1 hour drive at each end too. 82K. I get mileage for it though. $0.55/km.

I find I get to vent at all the jackhole drivers and rid my frustrations of the day before I get home....

When I get near Raleigh it's becomes more like driving near Boston. I'm guessing since there are so many transplants from the north here. I'm told the city of Cary, suburb of Raleigh, stands for Containment Area for Relocated Yankees.

So I bought a used A4 and still bank $$...

They asked me to go into the Personal Vehicle Program the company has, but the compensation doesn't work out to the + for me. :gaah:

I just came back to this company about a year and a half ago, need to build time back up, then become eligible for a higher class vehicle based on position. (ie, have the best project numbers and you get the sweet ride, instead of the standard vehicle.)

Then they did the math after 2 months and found out how much it was costing them.

Then the offered a vehicle. First a truck (I hate trucks) then a new Ford Focus.

I said sorry, not my cuppa, I'll stick with the mileage.....

Truck is mandatory for my position, even if I went with the PV program.

They only bought Fords up until last year, now it's only Chevy.
