If they want succeed this time they will need to have the only qualification is you have a HS diploma or GED.

And fuck, Mike Leach will be the first HC hired too.
Nah. He’s smart enough to wait a year or two before he jumps ship. Make sure it’s gonna last this time.

But considering the XFL year doesn't start their season until after the Superbowl I don't think there's an issue. You'll never have to choose between them since they'll never compete head to head and I think it's a win for fans because usually after the SB people still want football but have to wait for the combine and NFL draft to get anything.

And hey since a team is playing at MetLife and both the Jets and Giants suck maybe their XFL team will be good and they can actually be proud of a football team.

I’ll believe it when I see it. These things have been nothing than disasters. It’s usually really crummy football which is the issue

He tried taking a job at the dumpster fire Tennessee is, he’d jump at the chance of the XFL. He will be GM and HC of some team when the season starts, I guarantee it.

Dumpster fire or not Tennessee is still Tennessee (for a while anyway). You turn that program around and you’re a god. XFL is a bad joke until it proves otherwise.

Same thing last time.

But wasn’t just one active NFL stadium last time?

This time it’s at least 3 and then they’re also in the St. Louis Rams stadium and I think where the Chargers play as well

Interesting, might work this time. It would have made more sense, to me, if they put the league in cities like Portland, San Antonio, San Diego and other U.S. cities that don't have the NFL.

But they have a hell of lot more money now to spend than they did in the first go around. And Leach doesn’t want to be a god, he just likes to troll and not be bothered. The NFL is like a power P5 school, the XFL is Texas Tech and Wazzu.

Doubt it will work. It's so tough to get interest in 2nd tier sports in the US. Outside of leauges propping up their minor league systems, it tends to be go very very small or go home.

Smart putting it after the season. I think that's what got them the NFL stadiums. Not competing at all with the NFL so it's more $ in the stadium owners pockets with no loss.

All of these start up football leagues start their season after the NFL season. I think they should rethink this model and instead have their season during actual football season, but just schedule their games for the weekdays.

Think about it....Sure NFL has MNF, but MNF has sucked for 10+ years. They have Thursday night and that is a hit or miss...So if the XFL scheduled their games on Tuesday, Wednesday and occasionally Thursday and a Friday they may get more viewers and more interest. I know I tune into MAC games on Tuesday and Wednesday night because it's football and I want something to watch after work during the work week.

By the time spring rolls around it just doesn't feel like football time. Just think placing your games midweek could draw more viewers and more interest.

Two questions.

1. Why doesn't the Football Capital of the World "Philadelphia" have a team.
2. What team am I supposed or allowed to root for.

Why not just create a trash forum and stash it in there with all the other failed football leagues
