TH cannot make throws required in this offense. Play Howell. NONE of the three (Wentz, TH, RR) will be here next year. Howell may very well be here if he shows something regardless of how bad the Oline currently is.
You're probably right. If you are in Ron's shoes, how do you look guys like Allen and Payne in the eye and tell them the 5th rounder is up. Heinicke has faced Iive bullets in a playoff game vs. the GOAT.

You gotta look at if from Ron's perspective. I'm just as anxious to see Howell as everyone else.

You don't play Howell unless it's week 10-12 and the season is for sure over.....there are vets there that deserve the effort to try and win, not just tank the season.

Howell is a rookie. He for sure will be the one QB there next season, regardless.

I love how people think we need to go Heinecke because of the vets. The vets know what we have in TH. We were a 7-10 team and got worse offensively as the season progressed.

If Howell is worth looking at, unless he is simply a project, put him in. See what he has. The veterans will rally to hope. There is no hope with TH.

The vets will rally to whomever can put them in a position to win. TH provides a spark, knows the offense, and has next level escapability.

We dont know what Howell has. There IS validity to seeing what the Commanders have in Howell sooner than later. That’s true.

One could argue that if the current coaching staff feels as though he is ready, they should put him in. On the other hand Gibson being supplanted for Robinson because the current coaching staff feels as though Robinson is ready hasnt exactly worked out like gangbusters, due to the leaky oline as much as it has to do with playcalling.

This 10 day break should be telling. What changes dod they make at oline, playcalling, qb, to help the team remain competitive in games…..

It would be funny if it’s his middle finger and they have to splint it straight so he can properly greet Dan Snyder.

Sounds really bad to say this, but we need it to be six.

Look back at Washington's 2nd round picks. it isn't very pretty. Couple of good ones but a lot of stinkers too. I think there was a couple of suicide watches when they chose Martin last year.

To borrow a line from duke "Some" fans make me laugh. How many wanted Cousins out of here and are nut hugging on Heinicke? Don't get me wrong, I like his guts and competitive spirit. I even think the offense has a chance to be a bit better under him in the short run but he is still a limited QB.

You nailed it on the head. I feel bad saying that as it is implying I want Wentz to struggle with pain management, etc. I simply mean that I want him to heal and be pain-free ASAP but not return to the field for the full 6 weeks out of pre-caution and getting back up to game speed. He would have 5 weeks left in the season and I am sure we will know at that time if we are completely out of competition or not. I think Rivera knows deep down right now that it is over.

Cousins leaving was the biggest travesty (on the field) over the past 10 years. Shame on Bruce/Dan and whoever else thought it would be a good idea to let him leave for no reason.

I agree with your comments on TH.

Tanya is going to fix all of this Sportster...you just wait...LOL

Not going to hold my breath.

I guess that thinking is how they dumped Donald Sterling. You know Dan would be running things through Tanya, at least if she wants to get on the boat.

I actually believe that if Tanya takes over it will be worse because Dan will simply have Tanya do his bidding. Let's be honest, she married him for his money: it wasn't his looks or personality.

I highly doubt Tanya does anything without Dan's approval. I highly doubt Tanya cleans up anything or changes the image of the team. The owners will like it but the team will continue to be a disaster. It is all about optics at this point and I think Dan might be forced to turn it over to Tanya if he can't get a loan for the stadium. It truly is a mess....

That is what I just said .... in a different way. He affords her a life style she wouldn't otherwise have.

The sad thing is that Tanya taking over checks a lot of boxes for the league. You and I know it changes nothing but I can see Jones and Kronkie claiming that "the team has moved forward" and that "the future is bright behind Mrs. Snyder".

It would actually make things worse unless this is Donald Stirling 2.0 and Tanya decides to sell and Dan can literally do nothing about it.

With the GOP taking over in a few weeks it seems this all boils down to if Dan can get a stadium or not.

I hope whomever wins is still on board with not giving Dan a dime of public money. Owners are on record (off the record of course) saying if Dan can get a stadium they are good.
