St. Louis Rams C Scott Wells' base salary for 2014 was reduced from $5.5 million to $1 million. He received a bonus of $1.65 million upon completion of the restructured deal and is able to earn up to $850,000 in per-game roster bonuses this season. Wells also reduced his 2015 base salary from $5.5 million to $2 million. His 2015 compensation now includes $1.75 million to be earned as a roster bonus

I really don't see that as being a team player as understanding that he is fairly easily replaced at this point in his career...I do applaud him for doing it though, regardless of the reason...It can't hurt to open up a little more breathing room cap-wise..

I still am looking for something on Harvey Dahl but nothing is current. Does anybody have an injury update on his ankle?

This is the latest news I've been able to find...

Despite releasing him on Monday, coach Jeff Fisher stated he's open to free agent RG Harvey Dahl rejoining the Rams.

"We have expressed to Harvey that we have interest in bringing him back," Fisher said. Dahl is currently rehabbing from ankle surgery. "Harvey’s gonna work very hard to get through his rehab," Fisher added. "And we agreed that when he was healthy, we would talk." Monday's release of Dahl saved $4 million in cap room.
