Its more strange that the team was trailing by 15 at half and then came back to force OT playing 3 on 5. Now that is really bad IMO. Losing 5 on 3 is bad enough but blowing a 15 point lead in the process??? LOL.
It was 4 on 5 for the second half. A Gaffney player fouled out with 1 second left in regulation and then a Boiling Springs player fouled out halfway through overtime.
Im trying to figure out how the hell you blow the lead... I mean the team playing with 4 guys cant really play man to man defense, they almost have to play a zone. As far as Im aware SC doesnt have a shot clock in HS ball so wouldnt you just take your sweet time putting up any kind of shot???
While it still doesn't excuse it, by the looks of it the clear best player on either team was on the team with 3-4 players. Gtown recruit I believe.
I'm going to guess South Carolina high school basketball has a shot clock?
Currently, eight U.S. states require the use of a shot clock of either 30 or 35 seconds in high school competition: California, Maryland (girls only), Massachusetts, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Washington.
That makes the loss infinitely worse. What a terrible display of basketball IQ.
Ya that's the thing, couldn't you pretty much just literally sit with the ball in your hands?
If anyone tries to come and get it you have some one completely wide open then.
