Having gone 8-2 thus far in Super Bowl predictions, its powers of premonition are closing in on Nate Silver and Punxsutawney Phil territory.

It will be a battle for sure... and honestly I can not predict who will win. Seattle's defense has all the weapons to stop manning and company and IF they are off slightly Manning has all the weapons to put up points. Will be entertaining to say the least.

it wont be a battle. Seattle has no offense for this match up. If Madden has them/Broncos winning by 3, that means Broncos will win by 14 because in Madden the offense is always overpowered and given a chance to catch up even though their player ratings work out pretty well.

Stole this from a buddy of mine who is a massive Bronco fan:
"As for the Seattle Offence; they are much better than their stats say. They have won a lot of games by big points, so they didn't need to throw an extra 100 yards/ game. They have a +186 point margin of victory, 2nd to the Broncos +207. That's pretty insane for a team that is "known for their Defence only." The Hawks can light up the board just as the Broncos can. The scrored 417 points this year, which is better than 25 other teams. ONLY 2 teams gave up less than 300 points this year. The Hawks and the Niners. The Niners had 272, while the Seahawks gave up much less, at 231. That's huge. They are so far and away better than any other defensive teams out there as far as points scored against."


Don't let the last 6 games where they played top 10 defenses (the 2nd and 4th ranked D's twice) fool you. Those games would have reduced any QBs stats. I still think this is a toss-up game and I'm nowhere near confident to make any kind of prediction other than I think it comes down to the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter and will be won by whoever has the ball last probably.

I don't know that they have to actually sack him to have success and getting him off his rhythm. They do have to at least collapse/move his pocket and make him move off his mark and even that is a tall order with the O line they have.

If Thomas catches a ball full run on a crossing pattern, he will be punished by Chancellor and it will be nighty, night for Thomas, he can be reminded of the game when he regains consciousness.
