What is funny about the whole thing is that Lavar thinks he would dominate Jordan. It is as if he is making the comments based on his current size and not when he was younger. Checking around it appears Lavar weighs 300+. I am having a hard time believing that because he does not look it. However according to Wikipedia he weighs 320 and at that weight he would easily be able to back Jordan under the paint because we are talking about a 100lb difference.

If we go back to their playing days Lavar weighed 245 and Jordan 216 but I am not sure if that is high or not. and both of them were 6'6" If that is the case even though he had a weight advantage there is no way Lavar would just bull his way into the paint. Taking into account that Jorday is arguably one of he best defenders to ever play the game I think he would easily control Lavar. Lavar also commented how Jordan would be forced to stay on the outside and that was funny. Jordan in his prime had no problem dunking on players much bigger than Lavar was in his prime.

Yup.....probably will keep that up for a while. Even though I knew he was full of shit I was curious about what made him think he could just power over Jordan. I was curious about his sizew when he was younger and looked it up.

Entertainment until Football season begins.

The start of the NBA is going to be interesting to watch. I wonder if the Lakers will reign him in. I am sure Lavar will not have much locker room access and even though I think he is a pompous ass I think he will mellow some once the NBA season starts.

This is not a suprise. Base on his hype he should be....but....This is where his dad goes from a marketing genius to a marketing retard.

Lonzo Ball is going to be stud PG in the NBA. His dad hyped him up so much you could not turn on any sports channel and not see Lavar hyping Lonzo. It was insane. Now smart money would have him siging a contract with one of the major companies (Nike, Adidas, Under Armor) but Lavar got stupid and greedy. I think Lonzo based on the hype could have gotten more than previous rookies because he was all over the news.

Lonzo is going to be a lot of fun to watch. It will be like watching Magic and Jason Williams in the same body.
