I understand Schroeder's dad bought a box for tonight's game. Granlund is scratched for the Wild tonight, Crampy gets the start for Vancouver.

the canucks practiced at a small arena yesterday thanks to Lady Gaga being in town

the arena is where Jordan Schroeder grew up playing minor hockey

huge Jordan Schroeder banner at the entrance of the arena that the team got a real kick out of lol

not sure what to think of this game

Minny had a team meeting after the last game, has shaken up the roster, etc. should come out hungry
on the other hand, their increased talent level has Granlund a healthy scratch and Setoguchi on the 4th line.
Minny has been good at home, but has lost 2 in a row.

Nucks have flu in the room (cam barker time????) but have a pretty loose team with three straight W's.
and are playing our backup's backup.

conclusion: vBucks staying on the sidelines for this one.

How long until he becomes the top guy too?

Setoguchi is nothing more than a warm body right now.

I heard PMB and Burrows were going to renew their rivalry tonight.

class move by Vigneault starting Schroeder in his first time home.
it always bugged me that Gretzky didn't think it was a big deal scratching Turris at gametime in his first game home.

- nice start for the good guys. shots 9-3 on the road.
- does Heatley EVER skate at full speed anymore? or are we seeing his new full speed? ugh.

I agree with jstew (John Garrett), Schroeder deserves an assist on the Raymond goal...

2nd period summary:
16 minutes of "oh 2-0 lead? no problem we can coast"
and 4 minutes of Raymond / Hansen
that was ugly, after a pretty dominant 1st.

I'm a little behind on the PVR, but I think Weise did Konopka a huge favour dropping the gloves there.
a 4-0 game in the 3rd period, with nothing going on, why give them any chance for a spark?
skate away, take the boos and the powerplay (they ended up with a powerplay anyways)

Schneider let one in? pull him! where's Loungo!!!
