He was actually one of Torts' favorites here. He was due a raise the Jackets couldn't pay him.

I'd take him back over half of the forwards we have.

He's been quiet to start the season (also part of a very ineffective 1st unit pp) but last night he was in Boesers spot with Horvat and Baertschi and had 6 shots ... coulda had a couple goals last night

I will admit, I was displeased at the holdout and kind of expected him to start slow.
