what a pathetic game.

offense can only muster 13 pts against a defense missing a bunch of key players, and then the DC decides to go into prevent defense at the end of the game just so they can lose.

and Stafford just looks awful. Period. It's like his game fell off a cliff. He must've celebrated waaay too much in the offseason and forgot how to play football. Good thing they just extended him for 160M so they are stuck with him.

This reminds me of the Goff situation. Has a great season, so they extend him way before they needed to and it came back to bite them. Same thing is happening now with Stafford.

McVay can't get his head out of his rear long enough to realize he needs to relinquish play calling and let his OC run the offense, because he has turned into a moron during game day. Absolute trash game plans week in and week out, no adjustments, and completely ignores the run game when it is actually working.

And then he ignores something that is working when the run game was absolutely abysmal like today. The run-game is an after-thought. Thus it fails because they are not committed to it nor do they practice extensively. But worse than that, McShit-fer-Brains has trained his team to adopt his mentality that ultimately loses these types of games. Things like using time-outs in a helter-skelter, random sort of way that lead to anything that is productive, or with 4 minutes to go in a half, he goes into limp-biscuit mode to run out the clock and allows the opponent to march down the field and score points which is what I thought the game was about.

The most egregious of his habits is his belief that First and Second Round picks are largely over-rated. That is all fine and good if you are finding great players in the later rounds but in the last two or three drafts, he and Snead have come-up empty and have wasted pick after pick that produce nothing or they get hurt.

So, I am pretty sure McShit-fer-Brains has run his course with the Rams. He is not going to duplicate his Grand Father's feat of 5 Snooperbowls nor his he going to be a Mike Tomlin either. I doubt if he finishes the year 8-8. I pretty sure this will be his first losing season since he started back in 2017.

Doesn't this Beat the Band. Changes are coming he says and there is nowhere in the article where McShit-fer-Brains takes responsibility for ignoring his O-line for at least the last three recent drafts. No mention of his screw-up of by-passing an all-pro, play-now Center for a pile of dogshit receiver he is not even activating for a game. No mention of why he drafted 50 million DBs half of whom are just crap all-the-while ignoring once again his O-line and his deteriorating RB situation. Doesn't mention that he basically has screwed the team by treating the running game as an after-thought by not practicing on practice days or sticking to it in play-calling at least at a 30% clip. Then he is stunned that his primary running back wants out.

If, as McShit-fer-Brains dramatically points out, that the Rams cannot keep going on like this, why did he remove Aboushi and insert Brewer (who also failed miserably) in the RG position and totally overlook the real problem of Allen and Evans who were obvious sieves the entire game allowing Vita Vea to have a field day. Evans gave-up three sacks by himself and yet McShit-fer Brains leaves him in the entire game and removes Aboushi who allowed no sacks but sucked in the run game??

The problems this team are having lies right at the feet of McShit-fer-Brains himself. If you are having a problem with O-lineman, why do you not correct it by replacing the offending players instead of somebody who is only half bad? What he really is discovering is a problem of his own making along with is Shit-fer-Brains twin masquerading as a GM. He's now looking for O-lineman who can play and he can't find any. Oh Whaaaa!!

Is he looking for any players he might poach from other team's practice squads? Did even attempt to insert Skura at Center or Left Guard who was standing on the sidelines? Nope. Left his sieve boy in there to get manhandled by Vea all day.

I have no sympathy for a guy who pronounces himself a new attempt to get better and then can't seem to call correct plays or find the right players to alleviate immediate problems or even make adjustments to his offense that features new strategies and formations that teams have yet seen or even begun to figure-out.

Nope, this dumbass is going to have to wallow in his own created sewer until he owns up which I suspect may never happen.

McVay has become very frustrating to listen to.

It’s the same old BS, and now he has resorted to blaming the execution of his plays as a problem instead of his play calling itself.

I used to love listening to him.

Now he just sounds egotistical, like he is above reproach for the crap show displayed on the field every week.

Here are several suggestions on how to fix this mess and all of them implicate fixing McShit-fer-Brains' by reversing his inability to trust his position coaches to make the proper calls of who plays and who sits. He refuses to delegate the game play-calling chores to his very capable OC Liam Coen and the offense has become predictable and stagnant.

The quote in italics is taken from the included article. The article also demonstrates just how bad Evan is at guard.

"The LA Rams head coach Sean McVay, who calls the offensive plays, is now setting the offensive line too. That’s concerning.

Rather than assign tasks to positional coaches, it appears that the Rams have far less trust in positional coaches like OL Coach Kevin Carberry and RB Coach Ra’Shaad Samples (Rams recently reported that TE Coach Thomas Brown would work with Samples and the team’s running backs).

Ideally, the Rams should start Alaric Jackson, Matt Skura, Brian Allen, Oday Aboushi, and Rob Havenstein, and if Allen is injured, move Skura to the offensive center and slide OL Ty Nsekhe in at guard.
(I believe he should put Kolone back at center and sit Allen.)

But with McVay calling the shots at who starts on the offensive line, anything goes . ."

What is truly remarkable is McShit-fer-Brains is trying to micro-manage way too much and he is simply in-over-his-head, In attempt to be supercoach and be good at everything, he has become over-loaded and diluted where he is now doing nothing well or good at anything. The results are showing-up on the field.

I know one thing, it is clear as day that Bobby Evans should not be let near near a football field. His play has been absolute abysmal.

As soon as Evans gave-up the first sack, McShit-fer-Brains should have pulled him and replaced Evans with Skura. Nope. After watching him give up multiple sacks against the Niners, he needs another game to let Evans stay in there? That is when you know the HC is trying to do too much and is in over-his-head.

Scathing reports from the pundits continue to pour in. The overwhelming majority of them place the blame for this team's year-long poor performance at the feet of McShit-fer-Brains. It is obvious to many that this guy believes that he is a genius and should not be questioned. The rapid decline of the Rams is primarily from Sean McShit-fer-Brains and apparently everyone can see it but him. The case of Evans on the O-line is the most glaring. Allen at Center is another. This article provides even more insanity that has been left unchecked and often unrecognized by the man in charge.

Can't win games when you are so beat up and three of your starting O-linemen are on IR. Not in this league with their cap space and roster size rules.
Rams shot their wad last season to win a super bowl. It worked but now we pay the price.

In the end Mcvay was afraid of a sack due to the worst o-line play I've seen or even worse Stafford throwing a pick 6 so he ran the ball without a running game.
Its a dammed if you do and dammed if you don't position for him to be in.
Where he may have blown it was even trying Akers yesterday. What a waste of money that dude is.
