I don't think that's quite fair, but he is a hothead and that impacts his play in a very frustrating manner.

Seeing him at nearby Missouri and Denver, I have no idea why some folks think he is more than a backup level QB. When Denver drafted him, I knew there was more futility from Denver down the pike. Maybe I am biased against MU players, but I never have seen it with him.

Idk, is Penix regarded that highly this year in NFL circles? Only really had a pulse on Williams and Maye so far.

I think Penix is moving up the pecking order given how his season is going. Still has some work to do but he throws a beautiful ball.
I'm not as sold on Williams as most people are. He's a little loose with the ball, imo. It doesn't help that his defense is total trash and he's expected to overcome that but he doesn't look nearly as good as he did winning the Heisman.
