Can somebody explain to me why Kyle Shanahan is sending Purdy out and throwing the ball with less than 10 seconds left and down by 2 TDs when he's coming off a concussion? Just lucky Cinci basically said fuck it and didn't even try to get a pass rush.

Didn't get the game on TV over here. When you say they lined up to kill the clock but instead ran it in for a TD, was there otherwise enough time for DC to come back even if only in theory? Because it does seem awfully strange that a team who has the game already in the bag would take that kind of a chance, poor sportsmanship or not.

No they couldn't have completely ran out the clock, they could have taken it down under a minute and kicked the 3 for a 10 point lead. They caught the Skids sleeping.
