An OLB who has similar pass rushing skills to Clay Matthews, and can play the run... It doesn't matter that they are two different positions.. He is an elite player and would upgrade the current defense exponentially..

It matters to this conversation. Go back and read. You posted that we should have drafted a corner in the first instead of Best. To replace Houston. We aren't discussing if anyone drafted after Best turned out better than Best. YOU SAID A CB. Is this really that difficult? Follow the fucking conversation.

The point being that there were elite player that could have contributed way more than Houston has that were selected after Best.. And the two corners I mentioned are better than Houston... He is the best of a garbage bunch and nothing more.. Don't act like the Lions had no chance to upgrade this secondary more than its current state because that is fucking garbage.. You can point to many things on why the secondary is bad and this is just one of many.. Stop sucking on the management's knobs.. They have done an awful job on development and scouting for the back 4, period!!

Dude I'm not going to go through it but plenty of CBs were taken in the last few years that could be a top 2 legit starting CB on the Lions right now.. Quin is the only legit DB on the entire team.. Maybe Slay develops into something but so far I'm not impressed..
