I think Pats the way they are playing on " both " sides of ball and how the other teams like Denver are struggling for good balance, they would at least at this point in season, kick butt. IMO.

I don't know how the Patriots can't be the #1 right now... They are the world champs and haven't proved to not belong #1 early in the year.

I'd like to hear why they are not the #1 team right now over the others.

I know we all hate the Patriots but they are the clear best team right now. I'm not ready to give them the title it is a very long season, but give me a reason why they haven't proved they are the #1 team so far?

I agree that they cheat, there is no arguing that. I hate them. But until the NFL does anything about it they are gonna continue to win.

The bottom line is they find ways to win games and they don't look like they have slowed down yet. from doing so.

I am claiming they "don't suck", at least compared to a lot of other D's in the NFL.

They have given up

21,32,17,6 points a game.

Are they great? No! Do they suck? I don't think so.

I know 17 was to a weak Jags team and 6 to a injury riddled Cowobys team, but I think "they suck" is a little over the top.

I'd still take NYG over Denver right now in a battle of the Mannings.
Denver scored defensive TDs to win 3 of the first 5 games. Without the Defensive TDs , Denver is 2-3.

I'd also take SEA over Denver right now.

Just looking at the score predictions from the Oak-Den thread tells me most fans are overestimating this offense. It's downright horrible right now.

No. I am just saying that the Patriots look like the best team right now.

I wouldn't exactly call the Packers defense "great" for a top team either which you have ranked #1.

I know we all hate the Patriots, but hard to say they have proved they aren't still the top team in the NFL up to this point.

I see no way Denver can muster up enough offense to hang with the Patriots right now. We aren't gonna beat teams like the Patriots with pick 6's.

CEH- Giants are creeping up my list.

I think a matchup between them and the Falcons could be nice.

Falcons and Giants both struggled to shake bad teams this week but they appear headed for good seasons.

Look Mingo They are the best Team . I am positive there are reasons that they are still winning ... My guess is they are stealing Radio signals of other teams .. They have the Midas touch.. at this point they could pull Street walkers and line them up as WR's and RB's still score TD's on opposing D's ....I have Decided NE will win the next 100 SB's they are gods we are just piss ants

Look I am Guessing DC ... I was Guessing last year when I said the pats were cheating then also people got mad at me .. I was right then ... I have a feeling I am right now ! They just are to good for the players that are on that team ! they stink of the same aftershave of past years !!!!!!!!!!! I am positive they are stealing plays called they seem to fall back on what worked in the past McD showed us what his mind always falls back to in were that bunch wants to flow to when they just got to have that win .

In the end no doubt my mind NE will keep winning until someone finds out that they are sealing signals again . facts are if you know the next play anyone can win . Facts are NE is getting the plays again and it shows they are not even close to best team in the NFL personnel wise ! yet they are crashing teams plays !

Crash- I am agreeing with you. How can you trust that they aren't cheating? They are repeat offenders. It's kinda like the compulsive lying cheating classmate we all had in our classroom growing up.
