What? That was a 6-8 yard gain at least if Davis didn't drop it.Horrible play call on a WR screen when you're almost or at a hash mark. Too long of a throw

Who do you think blocks for outside run plays? Do you think outside run plays are just the running back sprinting towards the sideline? Pulling olinemen are one of the most dangerous weapon on an outside run.

Yeah maybe if you have a QB with a noodle arm or you run the play every down. There was somebody right on him. When you have a throw that long then the D can recognize the play and force the blocking to be perfect
No but how often have we been running inside? Not often. We run a lot of outside running plays. You just didn't see any against Pitt because we were down 21 points in the first quarter....Are you saying they're good then? But you're proving my point...they can move but they can't push people around. It took 4 games for the coaches to realize that they are more mobile than strong

Looked BAD out of the gate, with a bunch of silly penalties (6 in Q1, I believe). But haven't given up much on D, and BG missed a FG attempt. Then caught fire, with TG runs (and later JC) opening up the passing game. Lead 21-0 at the half.
