11:08 a.m. - The Cowboys are getting some bodies back to practice today.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Xavier Woods, Tavon Austin and Luke Gifford should all be limited at the team’s first practice of the week on Wednesday morning.

Woods is the most significant member of that trio, as he figures to return to his starting safety role once healthy. But it is interesting to hear that Gifford will be back on the field. The rookie linebacker hasn’t been available since he injured his ankle all the way back on Aug. 10.

Garrett said Tyrone Crawford and Antwaun Woods will not practice on Wednesday. Michael Gallup is also unavailable, as he continues to rehab his knee injury.

Third Down: This stat is enlightening, giving more evidence to why the Cowboys’ offense has been more productive after three games than this time last year. The Cowboys are leading the league with a 58.1 third-down conversion percentage. The Eagles are second at 56.3. Now then, after the first three games in 2018, the Cowboys getting off to a 1-2 start, they were converting 23.5 percent of their third downs. For context, 40 seasons ago the Cowboys finished with a 53.5 conversion rate in 1980, a club record. Only one other time have they finished in the 50-percent range, 50.2, in 1978. The highest since 1980 has been the 47.3 percent of 2014.

Damn our offense is 1st on 3rd downs & our Defense is 2nd against 3rd downs.
Heres to hoping we can keep this up :suds:

Cowboys RG Zack Martin (back) didn't practice Thursday.
He was downgraded to DNP at Thursday's practice after beginning the week as a limited participant. Martin has been battling back issues since August, even requiring an MRI last month. Xavier Su'a-Filo would be next up at right guard if Martin can't suit up Sunday in New Orleans.

Amari Cooper (ankle) was listed as a limited participant at Thursday's practice.
There was some concern over Cooper's availability after he went for an MRI earlier this week, but it looks like he's prepared to gut it out Sunday against New Orleans. After putting on a clinic versus Xavien Howard last week, Cooper should have similar success against Marshon Lattimore, who has yielded a league-high 341 receiving yards this year. He's RotoPat's sixth-ranked receiver for Week 4.

Lot of these hot take analysts have the Saints winning so far. I better not hear shit about Brees injury or how bad Teddy B. played when the Cowboys go up there and spank them.

Here's a tip Kris. It's 2019. Blitz more and it'll come faster...
We certainly got a few that can blitz. In this game I doubt we blitz much. Not a good idea with Kamara being the safety net. Maybe send some DBs and leave Jaylon and LVE to chase or shadow Kamara. Robert Quinn was a menace last week and I expect him to get lots of pressure on bridgewater.
