Week 4 Picks:

Detroit @ Dallas: As if Calvin Johnson needed motivation, Rob Ryan opens his big fat mouth. Have I mentioned I hate the Cowboys? Dallas has to back up their coach, so look for double and triple teaming of Johnson. A side attraction-Ndamukong Suh vs Romo's ribs. Detroit 27 Dallas 21
Carolina @ Chicago: The Bears defense better strap in, or dance for rain. That's been the only thing to slow down Newton so far. Carolina needs to contain Forte and make Cutler beat them. If Cutler throws it 45 times with Forte getting just 10 carries, Chicago is in trouble. Chicago 20 Newtons 17
Buffalo @ Cincinnati: Fitzpatrick vs his former team. A potential trap game for the surprising Bills, against a pretty good Bengals D, but the Cincy offense has been terrible. Fred Jackson has been great, but stopping Steve Johnson is key. Jay Gruden needs to get Dalton in a groove early. Buffalo 28 Bungles 17
Tennessee @ Cleveland: Who knew? Tennessee is 2-1 with Chris Johnson having less yards rushing than Chad Henne. Hasselbeck has been fantastic, but with Britt out, who is going to catch it? Cleveland can focus on CJ200 and make the Titans beat them through the air. Cleveland 17 Tennessee 13
Minnesota @ KC: I saw this referred to as the ALCS (Andrew Luck Championship Series). The Vikings can't close out games, but the Chiefs don't have the firepower to come from behind. AP has a big day. Minnesota 23 KC 10
Washington @ St Louis: The Rams are 0-3, but playing as tough a schedule as humanly possible. The Redskins are 2-1, coming off a tough loss to Dallas. Stephen Jackson should be back, and I don't trust Rex Grossman at all. The Redskins D is playing great, but Bradford is due. St Louis 24 Washington 20
New Orleans @ Jacksonville: The Jags have the home field advantage, but that's the only advantage they have. The Saints are on fire, and there's nothing to suggest that will stop. Brees has a big day waiting. Saints 34 Jags 13
Pittsburgh @ Houston: This is a huge test for Houston. They lost last week, but played great. Arian Foster will be back, which only helps. If Pittsburgh stays in Schaub's face, it'll get ugly. If the Texans line give's him time, Houston will win. The Steeler line gets a break if Mario Williams can't play. Pittsburgh 27 Houston 24
San Francisco @ Philadelphia: The Dream Team hasn't been as advertised so far. Michael Vick keeps racking up injuries, and Kafka should keep warm. The Niners are 2-1, but beat 2 bad teams. Philly should get back on track. Eagles 30 Niners 14
New York Giants @ Arizona: Eli could have a big day against a pitiful Cardinal secondary. Beanie Wells should play, but they just don't have enough to compete. Look for Nicks to have a big game. G-men 31 Arizona 16
Atlanta @ Seattle: The Seahawks finally got a win, but Atlanta comes in looking to bounce back. Matt Ryan played well after their first loss, and will do so again. Seattle just isn't a good team, and could be staring at a beatdown. Atlanta 35 Seattle 7
Miami @ San Diego: Just Miami's luck, they find a revelation in Daniel Thomas, and immediately, he's hurt. With him out, they'll have to go with Reggie Bush or the newly signed Slaton. Neither is a great option. San Diego made it out of September in good shape, even though Rivers is turning the ball over a lot. San Deigo 31 Miami 20
New England @ Oakland: The Raiders have the unfortunate luck to face a Pats team coming off of a tough loss, where Brady threw as many INTs as he did all of last year. I love the McFadden/Bush combo, but a pissed off Brady spells bad news for the black and silver. Patriots 38 Oakland 27
Denver @ Green Bay: The Packers and Aaron Rodgers just look unbeatable. They're not going undefeated, but they're not losing this week. Too much firepower for the Broncos. I'm smelling a blowout here. Green Bay 37 Denver 10
New York Jets @ Baltimore: This is huge for the Jets. A loss moves them back to .500 and probably 3rd place in the division. A win puts them as a true contender. Their 31st ranked run D better be ready. Baltimore found another target in Torrey Smith last week, making their O even better. Ravens 28 Jets 21
Indianapolis @ Tampa Bay: This game would have been a huge game with Manning, but without him, doesn't have much appeal. Josh Freeman is becoming an elite QB, and Indy needs to keep him under pressure. The Colts stayed with Pittsburgh last week by forcing Ben into 3 TOs, and will need to do it again. Tampa Bay 23 Indy 13
