Sure how about the game last week? Do you want to fill me on how he did against a top team in the NFC? Surely he played awful in that one right?

But hey today was only his 4th NFL start so I guess sorry he only looked slightly worse than a 19 year HOF QB in a heavy rain game. Damn him.
Its like you cant process my comment and the correlation.

Because your comment makes no sense. You’re trying to rag on Nix for his stats yesterday completely ignoring every else about the game such as the monster rain storm that caused even a HOF QB to play just as poorly as well.

I dunno Bills match up well against the run... I don't think the Ravens will be able to employ the same strategy like they did against Dallas. I think Bills win this in a tight game. And the Ravens D has suffered a setback with the loss of MacDonald.
You're really on top of things!!!

Just kidding. This was just funny to read after what happened.

Titans declared DB Julius Wood, LB James Williams, OT Jaelyn Duncan, TE David Martin-Robinson, TE Thomas Odukoya, DL Jeffery Simmons, and LB Ali Gaye inactive for Week 4 against the Dolphins.
The 2019 first-round pick failed to practice at any point this week in preparation for the team’s Week 4 Monday Night Football game and was ultimately held out with the release of inactives. The Titans, for the most part, remain relatively healthy heading into their clash with the Dolphins.

Dolphins declared RB Raheem Mostert, QB Skylar Thopmson, CB Kendall Fuller, LB Mohamed Kamara, and LT Terron Armstead inactive for Week 4 against the Titan.s
It was reported earlier that Mostert was not expected to play in this game despite his best efforts to get on the field. The veteran running back will now eye a Week 5 return, but we can expect another busy day for De’Von Achane against the Titans.

Jets should probably make an in season trade for some pass pro. Their old quarterback is not going to hold up if he keeps getting hit like that.

Jets were always going to be fools gold. They can be a fringe play-off team and nothing more. I think most people just assumed a 40 year old Rodgers somehow was 5-6 wins better because Zach Wilson was so awful. One player is never that difference and never has been. Football just doesn't work that way. The Oline was always going to be a work in progress and never a strength anyway and I doubt one player will make a lot of difference. They aren't getting some stud from another team. At best, they get a slight upgrade at one spot. Not enough when they face good fronts in bad weather or contending teams. Still a lot of season to go though. I'm sure the overreactions and hot takes will keep coming all year because of where they play and the medias love/hate relationship with Rodgers (which he seems to love as an attention whore, btw).

I would estimate that dealing for a good pass protector or two would help Rodgers a good bit. He's still a good QB...but he can't move around like he used to...and teams are starting to take advantage of that. The real problem with that is that the Jets would probably have to mortgage their future to get two good O-lineman. They would have to give up some draft picks. Either way I can't see Rodgers lasting much longer getting hit like he was hit in the Denver game. I'd hate to see him go out in a body bag.

The thing with that is with as few good to really good pass blockers as there are in the league, it will be tough to get one, let alone two. Teams just aren't going to part with good Olineman too quickly. And Oline play and pass blocking is as much about chemistry and coaching as it is about talent. I just don't think bringing in a guy midseason in that position group is likely to produce immediate results anyway. But I do agree with what you say about him getting beat up though. It's just that I think there might not be an answer. They retooled that line some in the offseason and it was supposed to be improved but this shows that it's tough to do in this league.

It *IS* difficult for a player to change teams in the middle of the season and learn a new playbook. That takes some time. Another problem is that most of the best offensive lineman in the NFL are on good teams...so those teams won't be looking to make changes. If Cleveland keeps losing...the Jets could make them an offer for Bitonio or Teller. Whatever happens...I expect the Jets to try to trade for a pass protector. Not because they want to...but they basically have no choice. Otherwise old Aaron Rodgers is just a sitting duck.
