Need to stop the run, the run D was embarrassing at the end of the NE game…..cost them any chance of getting the ball back with any time left….

Run D has been embarrassing most of the season, including preseason. Browns will run roughshod on us and if our offense is more of the same ineptitude, it will be a blowout.

I don’t understand how the team played with so much energy week 1 to being so bad that they can’t even contain the Patriots or Browns.

I didn't expect them to contain the Browns. They have a beast running attack and the Steelers run D has been bottom 5 all last year and this year.

They held Mixon to less than 50yds week 1. The entire defense showed up week 1 & then decided to mail it in.

I’m not buying that the loss of TJ equates to this big of a drop in play… I mean they still have Heyward, Ogunjobi, Mack, & Fitzpatrick. Those are elite players. It should still be formidable.

I’m thinking either the players just aren’t bringing the intensity or the coaching is falling flat.

I only saw a tidbit of the game as I was on my connecting flight. It was that final few plays before the half. Not once did I see a good play ran or a good pass thrown. Yeah they were up 14-13 but after seeing that I knew they were losing. Glad I missed the second half while on the plane!
