Proud of this team and proud of the strides these young players took. Hopefully another solid draft will let us finish the job and win it all again.

Rams had this but fell short due to things that have plagued them all year, we shouldn't be surprised.

Williams fumble... Butterfingers worse possible moment
Rams D can't stop the run
Poor blocking up front

So is Stafford retiring or sticking around?

He's sticking around. Those articles fly around every year when an older QB loses in the playoffs. Its clickbait. He'll back be. He'll be 37 and set to make another $46 million. He wants to set himself up nicely for life and he has four daughters which means four marriages to pay for! HA!

The Rams need some more help. This team is not as close as the Eagles to be a championship quality team because they failed to make the right FA signings when they had the chances. They also have NO MENTAL TOUGHNESS TO SPEAK OF!!

Imagine our backfield if we would have signed both Henry and Barkley. Nope the SHITFERBRAINS Twins couldn't because they spent too much money on several idiotic and piles of dogshit FAs like White and Jackson. If they would NOT have signed either, than they would have had the money to get the big backs like both of them. NOPE, MCSHITFERBRAINS LIKES MIDGET BACKS SO HE IGNORES TALENT WHEN IT IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FACE!!

But there is a bigger issue here. McShitferBRains and possibly Snead ignore better players for a type of player that they want. They don't go after the right people, they ignore obvious talent in the draft for "developmental" players, and it is constantly affecting how we play this game in the W-L columns. Beginning with guys like Creed Humphries and then on to Landon Dickerson and on and on it goes, these two shitbirds have ignored more talent than I care to remmeber.

McShitferBrains holds onto players that are useless like both Booms, Reeder, Evans, and on and on it goes. Sure they got lucky in 2021 and they had a very good draft this past year but they are still lacking and it showed today.

This pattern will happen again because ten-to-one, the two shitBirds will miss the next franchise QB to find another Stetson Bennett and go through another year with an aging overpaid QB who can't play in the snow!! We are effed for the foreseeable future.
The only problem with the quarterback issue is that this isn't known to be a good quarterback class. We're going to have to likely wait another year if we go the draft route. And don't really think any of the ones likely hitting free agency are the answer either.
I do wish we had a change of pace back from Williams like a Barkley or Henry, that've both showed this year that they still had plenty left in the tank.

Stafford fumbled twice. Receivers dropping passes on many occasions and blaming it on the cold. The offense took the Third Quarter and half of the Fourth Quarter OFF. The Defense left in the first part of the Fourth Quarter after they got the Safety. Stupid mistakes at the worst times, and no help from the ILBs like both Rozebum and Speights and whoever else they put in there. This team still lacks the killer instinct and has no mental toughness encouraged by McShitFerBrains who wants to be a BUDDY to his players rather than a HC!

Rams invested heavily in the D this last draft. This class is very deep in the mid rounds at RB and WR. IOL (which Seattle needs desperately) is also not bad but you're converting OTs to IOL (that can always bring issues).

I could see the Rams heavily focusing on offense this draft. The D class is fairly weak and QB is horrid (similar to 2022 but worse). I would not be surprised if the Rams snag Warren with a trade back in the 1st or just take him with a first. Higbee can't stay healthy, and if the Rams are willing to give that kind of contract to Parkinson (hey former Hawk, but not a game changer by any stretch, not for $7M per year lol) they must be looking for one.

I think the Rams draft is going to be heavily offensively focused, maybe outside of DB. The Rams basically hit on Verse, Fiske, Turner... I mean, that's the dream. You hit on the T-2nd most important position in football.. (OL being the other, QB obviously being the first). So now you get to draft things like RB/WR/TE.

It will be interesting what happens with Stafford... but he's 36, he's got a few years left in the tank. He's still one of the best blitz adverse QBs in the league. If I was running the Rams org, I wouldn't see any need to make a move on QB in this horrible QB draft.

First of all you guys are all like every other fan of other teams!! You dont think Philly fans were bitching when the Rams moved the ball down the field or had their few big plays?Detroit fans saying "what are we doing", Good teams make things happen, Philly had 3 big runs out of 34 the other 31 carries totaled 100 yards, overall the Rams played pretty well defensively, but has been the case all year, they tend to give up HUGH plays! The two to Barkley were unacceptable though, based on the last game they knew they couldnt do that, yet they fell asleep on 2 plays! somebody should have been playing a little off the line and shadowing him.

On Hurts run the Db that was playing deep took a horrible angle on him and boom Hurts was past him! Statistically we outplayed Philly, 3 big runs were the game! Sure the 2 turnovers didnt help, in the second half the 3rd and 1, the 3rd and 2, and the last 3rd and 2 all hurt big time! "If" we get 1st and goal there at the end and have 4 shots at winning I like those chances, it didnt happen!

You can bitch about Williams, Stafford, the defense, Karty, coaching like you have all year, but Williams is still one of the best backs in the league. For those of you calling for Jimmy G to be put in thats BS, Stafford is still one of the better QBs in the league and you go with him PERIOD. This D is the second youngest if not the youngest D in the league, there will be mistakes, overall they still played great especially the past 2 games with all the sacks! Karty struggled here and there, a ton of veteran kickers did this year, he had a good year!! As far as coaching the majority of teams would snatch McVey up in a heartbeat! We should be thankful for what we have a ton of teams and fans dont have some ley alone all of this!

Some of you are going to disagree with me, but we got further than I thought we would have, it was a good year and I enjoyed watching them, more teams didnt make it this far than did??? We could have beaten Philly easily aside from a couple plays and then a home game against Wash and a win and SB bound, but it didnt happen> Stat wise there was really only 4 teams that outplayed us, unfortunately points and not stats win games!!

Hey guys enjoy the year, enjoy the draft, overall great year, little tweaking and we will be even better! Just realize almost every team that loses, coulda, woulda, shoulda won, sometimes shit happens, if the Rams would have scored there at the end Philly fans would be saying the same thing!

Just how we lost our first Snooperbowl against Pissburgh, Smed. TWO BIG PLAYS. YOU CANNOT ALLOW BIG PLAYS EVER AND EXPECT TO WIN BIG GAMES. WE HAVE BEEN DOING IT ALL YEAR LONG ON DEFENSE!! We lost our Second Snooperbowl for the same reason and the HC in McVay got outcoached and didn't know the Jumbo Offense that would have destroyed Belicheat's variation of the 46 Defense!!

As for your criticism of my suggestion of asking for Garappolo to relieve Stafford. Stafford was struggling mightily in the Third Quarter and needed a breather. Ya put Garappolo in for a series, ya pull Stafford aside on the sideline, and you talk to him. As the HC, ya get him to re-focus and get him back on track which McVay could do because he has Stafford's ear. Then ya put him back in and let him work.

One of your problems Smed, is you have a tendency to be myopic in your analyses. The operative word here is TENDENCY. Sometimes you miss alot because of it.

I don't think you pull Stafford for a series and play Jimmy G unless an injury happens. Jimmy G didn't show anything with his end of the season start. With that said though the Stafford fumble set us back as did the Williams fumble. Turnovers are difficult to overcome. Somehow the Lions did it in the regulars season when Goff tossed 5 picks but he tossed 2 picks in the playoff game against the Redskins and lost. Turnovers always matter but they are different in the playoffs and we simply turned the ball over. Stafford has fumbled throughout the season when protection breaks down and this is not the first or second or third time Williams has had butterfingers and lost the ball. This plagued Adrian Peterson early in his career. A number of reasons we beat ourselves this game. OL got beat, we couldn't stop the run, turnovers ( stafford fumble and williams fumble ) and all of these have happened all season long. We're not going anywhere until that is cleaned up.

Did you read the post thoroughly, Unreal? You pull Stafford a SERIES, ya get him the break he was demonstrating he needed, ya talk to him, ya re-foucs him, and then send back in energized. Vermeil did this a couple of times with Warner, especially during Vermeil's second year. It is just a strategy to help a QB and potentially save the game.

Hell yeah, great year. Disappointing end but still a great season, we we're 1-4 with a lot of guys on ir. Played the hardest schedule in football. Won the division, sweeping our rival 49ers out of playoff contention. Watching a lot of young players take meaningful strides in their development, recognizing this team isn't perfect and there is still stuff to do on this roster. Believe me the other teams will be sweating playing us knowing we've only just begun to contend and our young players should only get better. We're well ciached, young and hungry.

The very guy the Rams whiffed-on in the draft and who Limmer couldn't handle finished the Rams' season with the sack. Otherwise we win that game 29-28.

I watched the lowlights again and Rozeboom was out of place so many times he was always chasing down the coverage target from behind. He missed on a number of big plays such as all three involving Hurt and Barkley. We simply have to find better players on Defense especially at ILB.

This.

I don't want to see any slander or disrespect towards McVay (no names will be mentioned LOL) but Stafford and Williams were the reason they lost.....you cannot turn the ball over like they did yesterday. 3 fumbles, 2 lost to the Eagles. In a big time game like that vs the Eagles?

Just SMH.

That is true DJ. The Defense had seven sacks but then they gave up three big plays that cost us the game in conjunction with the mistakes of the Offense which I have already chronicled.

I am surprised you focused just on one aspect of the Defense. If they prevented the three big plays, we would be heading back to LA to face the Redskins. But since they gave up nearly 300 yards of running yards as well, those Seven Sacks are not so important are they??

Fair point but Barkley is a beast indeed and he is having an MVP type season. No team has been able to slow him down, even some good defenses.....

I think they win the game if not for those 2 TO's.....despite Barkley going nuts.....
