Another crucial game is on Sunday Night Football. Seattle comes to LA and this is a payback game we should have won in Seattle save a missed FG at the end that easily should have been a win. Russell has his new changes at O-line, WR, and RB and a D that is tougher but beatable. These changes have made the Seahawks a better team than last year. Now they have stowed-away some confidence and it is time for our D to Russellize Russell all-over again and steal that confidence with a good beat-down.
I think McVay finally gets it that he has to run his genius offense out of the run and base it in the Jumbo offense to offset the adjustments the rest of the NFL have made to combat his offense. I expect the Rams to run Gurley, Brown, and maybe even Henderson as the O-line has put together two decent games save for three holding penalties on the rook Edwards against the Cardinals. Run blocking is good and pass protection better. Edwards, Evans, and Corbett are playing quite well and Blythe has brought some stability to the O-line at the Center position moreso than when he was at guard.
The key to this game is going to be how the Rams respond to all the adversity they had this year. They should come out of the chute hard and fast. Starting slow and expecting to catch-up at the end is not going to work. The Cards game proved that.
If anyone takes this game off, we are screwed. We must stomp on the gas from the getgo and not let-up until the final whistle. I hate Pete Carroll and he is just slick enough to slip in something in like he stole from Fassell that he used to secure the win in Minnesota.
So, we are going to have to continue what we started in Phoenix or we are going to be done for the post-season.
