For whatever reason, it's like Goff wanted to get Everett involved a lot more and Higbee got relegated to a blocking TE. Now that Everett is out, we can see how beneficial Higbee can be in the passing game.

one thing to me that's a dead giveaway is that when Gurley goes out to catch passes he really doesn't even try to run a route. It's as if he knows that he will be a decoy and won't even look for the ball. Or even when he's targeted the pass is not really catchable
