Off topic but it looks like Robert Kraft paid off the refs at the end of the game to screw the Steelers out of a game winning touchdown.

Pats always get calls their ways, especially in critical games

After a heartbreaking loss last week, it was nice to see the Rams come out and put in a complete game and never let up ( including McVay's challenges ).

They need to keep that intensity up and learn from this experience to stay on their opponents throat and don' let them hang around.

Also like to add, it's too bad the Rams are deep at WR because Pharoh Cooper has some nice moves getting free.

Maybe next year when the LT is gone, we can see Cooper take those snaps he is getting and actually do something with them.

Are they going to soak McVay for winning the division?!
It might be bad luck to have done so prematurely retro, as they likely take the Division with this win but still have a bit of work to do to actually lock it up...

The Seahags can still tie, the tiebreaker is H2H where they are tied (1-1), and the third tiebreaker is the Division record were they are tied (4-1).

If the Seahawks win out and the Rams lose out, the Seahawks will win the division.

I will be surprised if we don't make it to Super Bowl, let alone win it.

4th tiebreaker points scored?
No, it would be records vs common opponents.

Right now, the Rams have the edge but they can still tie...
  • Rams 8-2 / 2 remaining.
  • Seattle 7-3 / 2 remaining.
Interesting enough, Seattle missed both New Orleans and Minnesota, and the Rams miss Atlanta and Green Bay. (Seattle faced GB with Rodgers in Week 1)

The two remaining for the Rams are:
  • Tennessee and San Francisco where the Hags are 1-1
The two remaining for the Hags are:
  • Dallas and Arizona where the Rams are 2-0
So the best the Hags can do is tie, which means we go to the next tiebreaker...

The next tiebreaker is the best record within the Conference...

Where we are still ahead but they can still tie. ...
  • Rams 9-3 / 1 remaining
  • Hags 7-4 / 2 remaining
Which would bring us to the next tiebreaker.

Strength of Victory, which I'm not sure how they calculate that.

Overall they can't beat us as we have a greater point diff, and you know, I think if they look at just the win margin in games won, they shouldn't be able to beat us.

So I'm not sure if they just haven't played out all the tiebreaker scenarios yet or if the Hags need to win by 100 points a game or something like that to catch us so it is still open ended for that reason...

But it comes down to that, I wonder what that number is if they calculated it with the Rams losing both games and not gaining anymore ground?

I could figure it out but I'm not going to. LOL.

The Rams established themselves as front-runners in the NFC West on Sunday by marching into Seattle and beating the Seahawks by 35 points. The game was even more lopsided than the final score indicated, which shows just how well the Rams played in a hostile environment.

There was a lot to dissect from the outcome of this one, but we’ll try to put it into perspective with seven crazy stats.

Rams hand Pete Carroll largest home loss as Seahawks coach
Prior to Sunday’s game, Carroll had never been beaten by more than 34 points at CenturyLink Field as the Seahawks’ head coach. It looked like that was a lock to happen when the score was 34-0 at halftime, but the Rams took their foot off the gas a bit and coasted to a 35-point win – Carroll’s largest margin of defeat at home. Weirdly enough, it was an intentional grounding call for a safety that put the Rams over the 34-point threshold.

Todd Gurley joins Marshall Faulk on exclusive list
Faulk is one of the best running backs in NFL history, so any time a player joins a list that features him and only him, it’s quite an accomplishment. That’s what Gurley did on Sunday by rushing for 152 yards, scoring three touchdowns on the ground and another as a receiver.

He and Faulk are the only players in Rams history to hit those marks in a single game.

Most points Rams have ever scored in Seattle
The Rams had a chance to put up 60 points on the Seahawks Sunday, but they settled for a still-impressive 42. It’s the second most points they’ve ever scored against the Seahawks, and set a new franchise record for the most points scored on the road against Seattle.

Pharoh Cooper nearly matches Rams’ 2016 punt return mark in one game

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Last season, the Rams struggled to make impact plays on punt and kick returns. They had just four punt returns of at least 20 yards, a mark that Cooper nearly matched in one game on Sunday. He had three returns of at least 25 yards, including a 53-yarder that he brought within one inch of the goal line.

Russell Wilson ties career high with seven sacks
Wilson took a beating on Sunday at the hands of the Rams. It’s not the first time that’s happened, either. He tied a career high with seven sacks in Week 15, the second time he’s been brought down that many times. Not surprisingly, the Rams are the only other team to sack him seven times.

Rams now have as many 40-point games in 2017 as past 11 years combined
usatsi_10484428.jpg

Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

From 2006 to 2016, the Rams scored 40 points four times. It was one of the ugliest offensive stretches the NFL has ever seen, but the Rams put an end to that trend this season. They’ve scored 40-plus points four times in 2017 alone, matching their total from the previous 11 years.

Jared Goff posts highest passer rating in Rams history at CenturyLink Field
Goff didn’t have a great game on Sunday, but it was good enough to earn the Rams a 35-point victory. As shocking as it sounds, his 93.4 passer rating is the highest by a Rams quarterback at CenturyLink Field. The previous record was held by Marc Bulger, who posted a 90.0 rating in 2005.

Gotta say... this was easily the most satisfying win I've witnessed in YEARS!
