i dont understand this either ...

if we are investing 20 million in 2 WR & 20+ in qb ... (& even tho he isnt playing) a first round pick on a WR ...

how are we going to blame the defense that hold an opponent under 30.

The goal for the offense of every game must be to score over 30.

I would appreciate thoughts on this.....Because our defense cannot not be consistently relied on, should we no longer defer after winning the coin toss so that our offense can get us going early? Think I'll make this a poll question.

look this isnt as bad as it seems we could have done some things if we won but this is recoverable

if you're away you defer to the second half because the crowd is out using the bathroom & getting hotdogs ?

Nope I'm asking if we should take the ball first and hopefully score. That 8 minute 12 second opening drive set the stage for the rest of the game.

its as bad as it gets ...

i was mad after week one because i had high expectations & we only get an opportunity to go up against the steelers once every 4 years ...

but this lose might be even worse because we were not able to execute against this team which has nothing left to play for

in an away game situation it is not ideal because the fans are in their seats and give the home team the advantage ...

that is the only difference that coaches take into consideration i believe

Usually I like to get the ball in the 2nd half.

I think its more paramount that we solve our red zone issues. We've left too many points on the field in too many games this year. I don't know how much if at all scoring first or scoring on a game's opening drive will help the defense. Scoring more points would probably help the defense though.
