well the rule is to stop injury (actual) blindside blocks. Like what Warren Sapp did to the packer lineman.
Or one year a WR wiped out Sean Lee who was pursuing the runner & never saw the receiver coming back. Put him out of the game.
That is why the wording of "forcibly" (towards their own endzone)
Could have easily just got in the way, instead of rearranging a persons ribcage.

It is to stop injuring players. So I get it, but the wording can be called on innocent blocks.

Yeah I'm all for banning blindside blocks but refs shouldn't be calling atuff like that. Its stupid
