Suspect playcalling from Denver on that last drive. But they somehow kept finding a way to get 1st downs. Woulda been a crazy finish had they pulled it off

sure, they wasted a bunch of time on that drive, but that doesn't change the fact that the clock was ticking on 1st & Goal and the Broncos still weren't quite ready to snap the ball, yet Zimmer decided to bail them out with a timeout.

let's say for argument sake that Zimmer didn't call the timeout. well, in that case, the Broncos would probably have not got the snap off until like 9 secs or so.. which would've left like 4 secs max for 2nd & Goal and hence the last play of the game. so Zimmer gifted them another down.
