I think the Rams/Goff are one year ahead of the Chiefs but both teams are stacked with talent so it could happenPossible SB match up. Your Chiefs are good. Real good!

But if you guys can dissect our defense like you did tonight, anything can happen.I think the Rams/Goff are one year ahead of the Chiefs but both teams are stacked with talent so it could happen
I'd say either Ebukam or Donald for sure. After the Peters INT the reason the RAMS didn't run the ball is because Gurley has been used mostly as a decoy after getting hurt/hobbled in the 1st quarter. I think the Chiefs finally caught on. What the RAMS should of done was after the INT was to put Brown in and run run run for a first. Ebukam is hands down player of the game.
They definitely stepped it up when they had to, I'll give them that. But we can't keep playing so far off the WRs because we saw how much that burned us tonight. The further we get in the season defenses begin to play better and I saw the Rams D step up when they had to tonight. I know allowing 50+ points at home looks bad but we watched the Defense step up big against an offensive power house when they had to and KC's defense didn't. Rams Win!
Goff is fucking up.... 3rd time he held on to the ball to fucking long... dump the pass !!!!!
He holds onto it a lot. Youngin has to get better but he’s still makes a lot of plays too
Thats been the Chiefs defense's gameplan all year, too. Great defense when the other team is on an obvious passing down and awful against the run.Rams really only got into trouble with the pass rush when they put themselves into obvious passing downs. Being more willing to run the ball on 2nd and long would help.

I'm rather stunned that Gurley was mostly a spectator but the Rams had some mismatches against Scandrick in the secondary and just kept passing the ball.
I thought Goff had a great game but he did hold on to the ball a few too many times (like Mahomes)
Joyner is probably going to get a lot of money somewhere. Id say he is the most important piece of the three. (Suh, Peters)Rams usually get into trouble when they get away from Gurley. Luckily, they had some huge turnovers to make up for some stunted drives.
Defensive, the Rams desperately need to get better at LB (could see them dumping Barron's salary, since they are only on the hook for $2M if they do so this winter). Getting healthy at CB would help too, but Talib is getting long in the tooth. Giving Peters big money is going to be a tough call with the way he has struggled this year, but we have one more year to make that decision. I think Joyner is likely gone this winter as well (too expensive after being franchised this year for his production level), so FS will be a big need as well. I don't expect Suh back, and the Rams might be better off replacing him with a DT that stays home more. Let Donald and the edge rusher (whether that is Ebukam, Fowler, or a new addition) generate most of the pressure.

Not a lot of good LBs or secondaries in the league right now. Rams have the same problem a lot of teams have as far as I can tell. I think when the playoffs start you'll have the Bears and Texans playing defense. Maybe the Vikings and Steelers. Everyone else is going to try and win a shootout.
The Rams went all-in this year. They have to be confident with their odds this year. They're probably 1 of 8 teams that can win it all. You have to like those odds, tbh.
If you recorded the game go back to early in the 1st quarter and look at Gurley getting tackled out of bounds by no.44, Gurley gets his ankle rolled up on real good. When you see Gurley go back to the huddle Gurley talks to Goff. Bet he's saying i'm hurt some. After that tackle Gurley was pretty much a decoy rest of the game. Which is what they do anyway a lot but not the whole game which the RAMS did.Thats been the Chiefs defense's gameplan all year, too. Yep, I'm thinking past this season. Rams can only work with what they have for now.
