Personally, I'd feel that a QB would at the very least look at his "first" option prior to running up the middle of a defense, so I'm kind of skeptical on that considering Dalton didn't even glance to left. However, your scenario is certainly possibly. In any case, the play was well set up for either one, by design or not.

And imagine that, someone actually watches the tape instead of harping on player/coach-speak, comes with a decent argument/ideas without all the ad hominems, and we can more or less mutually accept either case. Of course the homers probably still won't acknowledge any scenario other than the one that exalts Dalton.

And there will also be haters that never see any good in Dalton.

I suspect he'll be a polarizing figure for some time.

Good thing there are none on this board outside of Kramer.

Those other guys though. Man, they need to get a grip.

Kramer's hate is fairly universal. I think he hates Santa Claus.

The other haters are just upset that their hero was traded to Oakland.

Kramer makes Nick Cave seem cheerful. When the Bengals look like the Bungals he seems giddy, though.

Over the last 3 years, Palmer is costing his teams north of $3,500,000 per win. (He has 11 wins in like 44 Games)

Dalton has been costing the Bengals $234,000K per win (He has 16 wins in 28 games) And, that number will get even lower if they win any more.

Damn. Not only is Dalton better, young, and wins more...He is 14X as economical than Palmer.

Palmer is owed $28,000,000 more in 13/14. He will be cut, and either a backup or out of the league in 4 months. Lol
