Of course they are going to boo. Zero contact up top, Kawhi landed on his foot. It is definitely a foul, but every home crowd in the league boos that call during a playoff game. The fans aren't exactly objective.

Look, I hate 90s style basketball, but everyone calling this play dirty needs to go watch some clips of Laimbeer for some proper perspective.

It's hard to like the warriors. I know people will give me negative ratings, but here goes. I really don't get why a team with a bunch of pretty boys who shoot 3s all game gets so much hype.

All curry does is shoot 3's, although he is very very good at them. Thompson has the word "douchebag" written all over his face, he just seems like the kind of guy who laughs at people for being poor or sick while he drives off in his luxury car. Draymond green is a jack ass who spends more time yelling at the ref than playing the damn game, and Kevin Durant is a talented player who sold out for a ring. He couldn't handle the pressure and responsibility of being the main guy in Oklahoma. He destroyed what they were building there to be the #4 guy in Oakland. Pachulia is just a waste of space in general. I'm pulling for the Cavs now. The Spurs will probably get swept unceremoniously and we will all be subjected to articles about the warriors greatness. I'm not saying we would've won the series, but I can't help but wonder how things would've gone with a healthy Tony Parker and Leonard. I'd say a 6 or 7 game series for sure.

I can't put my finger on it. But this somehow screams sour grapes to me.

You don't have to shove a guy down, clothesline him, or in Draymonds case kick them in the nuts for it to be a dirty play. If you put your leg under where the shooter is supposed to land and they land the wrong way like Kawhi did it can be dirty. There's a reason you get called for a foul when that happens. Did he do it on purpose? Maybe and maybe not, but I don't think that last step towards Kawhi when the shot was off was needed.

yeah, i try not to think a helluva lot about it as well. she's been gone since '85 from pancreatic cancer. but days like this and her birthday(a day before my own incidentally) kinda bring it back in my mug...

He contested the shot, and turned to get a body on him to make sure he didn't crash the boards. This play literally happens 25+ times a game. The difference here was that Leonard actually landed on Pachulia's foot and he was already injured.

I don't say this much but we actually see eye to eye on this. As I said earlier it is the 2nd time he moves forward where I have an issue. The first time he does it is a natural basketball move while contesting the shot. The 2nd one just made no sense

And if he doesnt make that little 2nd slide, Kawhi doesnt get injuired on that play

Totally different situation though, and the Cavs obviously had the pieces to put together a contender. Last July, word was the Wall and Beal hated each other and many were questioning whether they could co-exist. Why would a player like Durant walk into that drama?

Didn't help that after the Morris trade they couldn't give a max deal.

Gotta believe he wouldn't have met with the Paper Clips either if he knew they were trying to get him off the sale rack.

The Cs and lakes of the 80s are more stacked than the 11-14 Heat, 15-17 Cavs, and 13-16 warriors.
