Dudes were punching each other in the 1970s.
That doesnt give Draymond a free pass to throw punches because someone did it in the 1970s.

We dont just enforce the rulebook because someone might have done something similar 14 years ago under diffrent rules allegedly. (allegedly) I dont ever remember bowen ever taking Kobe out of a game.

I agree with the latter. Kawhi's ankle was questionable coming in and he tweaked it again prior to this play in question. On the former Zaza doesn't get that benefit of the doubt considering his history. Looking at the play again, you could sensibly make that argument.

For Spurs fans though, it's ironic considering Bruce Bowen had been doing that for years on a nightly basis. It's a bitch when it happens to your team though.

It was a step back jumper and Pachulia was trying to get out to it.

I have played a lot of basketball in my days. I am a shooter, so guys always close out hard on me too. People get in my landing space all the time. It is more common on a step back like that, because the defender is lunging at the shooter to try and contest it.

Like I said, it is a foul, not a dirty play. No chance Pachulia was trying to hurt him. Also, if Leonard's ankle had not been previously sprained, this play probably ends up being nothing.

i disagree i think the step that actually injured Kawhi should have never happened. In any case, Za should have never been there.

Regular season means nothing. Durant just came on board with the Warrior so it took a little time to get all the gears going and working together.

Warriors in 5 at the most. Maybe a sweep. Warriors are just TOYING with teams they are so good. They don't even have to play at a 100 percent to beat either the Spurs or Cavs they are so good. 85 percent will suffice. Though I expect them to go balls to the wall in the finals

This game was series. If Spurs couldn't nab this one with a big lead it's over. Warriors are too good bottom line. Warriors played like crap all day and still won. And that was about as good as the Spurs are capable of playing. Imagine when the Warriors start playing well

Has nothing to do with this game. It's just ironic is all I'm saying. If Kawhi's ankle was 100% heading into this game, it's probably not even an issue. But clearly that wasn't the case. And if you google Bruce Bowen dirty plays, there's several youtube clips and articles on him during his days with the Spurs.
