I have issue with a team that lost the first game of the NIT to a 16 seed....being ranked top 5 the next year. UK stunk up the joint last year and another group of highschool players are not going to make the difference. JMO.

Solid, not high on my Hawks huh??? I admit 12 may be an ambitious ranking since most predictions have them between 15-25 but just dont see a way a 25 win team that returns everyone and adds 2 really talented guys isnt a top 15 team.

For Iowa....You make valid points. The 9 - 9 conference record keeps me from pushing them into the Top 25. The teams I have above Iowa are the ones that finished the season above them. They either return most their players or they picked up another outstanding class in 2013.

No doubt, Iowa could unseat those I have listed above them. The experience is there. I'll be watching.

Ya'll gotta get the NCAA out of UNCs camp. That shit has me worried. It's those f'n rental cars. Lose Harriston and I'm thinking it's another weak year for the heels. Just the distractions alone is enough, but the accusations on Harriston and the fake classes have me wondering if a hammer is coming.

And even if the NCAA backs off...there still dat Orange Hammer Inbound. I just have to wake my coach up in time for pregame.

Makes sense. OSU, MSU and Michigan should all be ahead of Iowa IMO at least preseason. I cant see ranking Wisconsin or IU ahead of Iowa with all they lost though but I get your point. Hopefully a year of experience for all the Iowa guys will turn 6 or 7 of their razor thin losses last year into wins this year. IF that happens could be a truly special season for the Hawks.

I see I didn't put anyone from the MWC in this year. I think that's cause my west bracket in the NCAA tournament was an epic fail. I had NM going deep.

Kentucky did just pull one of the greatest recruiting classes ever and it reeks of cheating. I think they have 5 of the top 10 recruits coming in.

Yeah you're right, they did play better later on in the season. But too little too late. I had a bad feeling about that Mercer game. It seemed like TN just didn't give a crap about it...which is sad.

Solid rankings, but I think Michigan and tOSU are ranked too high, they lost a lot of talent this offseason. 15-20 Range is where I would stick'em.

As for Iowa, I'll believe it when I see it.
