From the NFL main board:

Denver Broncos Montee Ball 2nd round pick, but add this word to the end of his name when you say it "FUMBLE!!". I am still thinking about Sylvester Williams, the 1st round pick. Not much of an impact, but as a tackle that is hard to do. Overall, looks like 2013 was not a good draft for Denver.

My other opinions

Tavon Austin St Louis Rams for the #8 pick, I don't think St Louis likes the value they are getting

Didn't really have a strong opinion about Ball, but I was pretty critical of the other 2 picks.

Who else is disappointing? Bjoern Werner maybe? Datone Jones hasn't played much.

Tavon Austin isn't doing anything to prove HuskerinBig10 wrong (or me for that matter):

I'm not as big of a fan of Austin & Patterson as most. Austin is probably the best kick returner in the draft, but I'm skeptical he can get away with the stuff he did in college.

Or maybe I was wrong. He wasn't the best KR in the draft.

Matt Barkley. He was a 2nd round pick but still... first 4 drives as a pro 3 picks and a fumble. Well, thats what they said on the redzone channel this weekend anyway.

Barkley was a 4th-round pick, but he did not look good in his limited time.

How about Hopkins? He's filled in nicely so far. Their record just doesn't show it.

David Amerson has played well too from what I've seen. He was a guy I liked around this time last year.

Hopkins can certainly play. Haven't seen Amerson very much, so I can't say for sure.

Does Jarvis Jones warrant way-too-early discussion? He's done little to nothing thus far, and he was supposed to be about as NFL-ready as they come. And it hasn't been injury that has kept him from performing (as far as I know).

I expected MUCH more from him.

...granted just about everyone knew Jarvis was a very risky pick.

Jets pick of Milliner and Richardson have been good,

Saints Vaccaro has not been what he was suppose to be. Getting beat a lot.

Other Positives: Reid(might turn out to be the best player in the draft, Hopkins,

I was adamant in my distaste for him way before he flunked the draft process.

Nice call Ray. So was Todd McShay (and Kiper was against McShay on that one).

I had the same reservations you did, but I wasn't entirely convinced he was a dud because he was so dominant in the SEC. Just another example of why you can't just look at game film to evaluate a player (unless he all of a sudden turns it around of course).

Now we gotta hope Tank is the real deal. He seems like a no-brainer to me.

Austin has been disappointing so far but Ogletree has been very promising. Austin still has a chance to recover because most of his problems are from the neck up.

Jarvis Jones, on the other hand, is a guy that doesn't really have superstar measurables and got drafted because of his ability to make plays. Id be very doubtful about him long term if he shows nothing all year

I was even more excited about Tank than I was about Lemonier, and I thought Lemonier could eventually be the best 3-4 OLB in the entire draft.

When Baalke was asked if he knew whom he wanted on day 2, he said something like "Yes. Absolutely."

I'm very optimistic, and the Niners certainly need him IMO. Just hope they don't bring him along too soon; I want him at 100% before he plays.
