Hey everyone,

I am new to the board, but I think an interesting topic right now, particularly in the NFL because the TV product is so good, is fans potentially preferring to watch at home rather than attend. I have seen blog posts dedicated toward this topic before and I thought it would be interesting to get your insights to it. I am a PhD student and currently working on some research dealing with this topic as well. If any of you wouldn't mind taking a few minutes to fill out a brief questionnaire, it would be much appreciated. Please note, it does not ask for any personal information of any kind, just looking for your perspective on an interesting topic :) Thanks everyone, and enjoy another great Sunday of games!

wow your favorite teams look like the cause of a bar fight...

also I think staying home is better unless you and your buddies have a football, grill, bratworsts and a portable bar.

Depends on what the stadium experience is. I will always enjoy a game at the PHOG, any baseball game, or Arrowhead more than I do on T.V. If I was paying at the ass to pay for one game at Yankee stadium? Screw that, I already pay quite a bit to the few games I actually do get to go to.

Edit: Oh, and welcome to the board.

Live. The TV coverage blows. Replay is nice but they hide the majority of the action so the idiots know where to look.

I like to hit 1 or 2 games a year and that is enough. The live experience has been much improved with replay boards that essentially show the entire TV telecast, but I'm still perfectly happy to watch the games from the comfort of my couch.

There is nothing quite like being there live, but The Clink has a rep as being a fabulous venue for the home team.
I filled out your survey.

I prefer to watch at home actually. Dont have to deal with the crowd, weather, and insane prices. That being said, my wife and I are flying out to Seattle next season to catch a game. Maybe if I lived close to my favorite team, it would be different.
