They should have a Tony Soprano type be the corporate rep for this tourney.

Its a shitty tournament to attend as well. Over a hundred thousand people go each day and it is the most attended tournament on tour. There are so many poeple you can't see anything. Scottsdale is the Hollywood of Arizona and most people are there just to be seen and act like idiots.

More like the Hollywood of anywhere not named Hollywood. Not just Arizona.

agreed

but with $1,116,000 in first prize money, you could call it the Bleeding Anus Open and it still wouldn't matter

I agree to some here and disagree to some. Yes, there are a lot of idiots. You get a lot of college kids there, who are there for the party. #16 can be either annoying or a lot of fun - depending on how you look at it. It's just a different dynamic than any other hole on tour.

Scottsdale is a damn cool city though. Also, that course was built for viewing. On every hole from tee to green you have continuous high vantage points. It's easier to see the players than you might think, even with all the people.

Mysister has two passes to the waste management Golf Classic for today. It is access to corporate village and the Marriott hotels and resorts tent with the food and drinks. She doesn't do golf stuff and is trying to give them away.

As a fan...this is one of the best tournys of the year. You can get "shit-faced" out on the golf course, yell and scream at every shot and no one gives a shit!

GOOD ACTION for a fan and has to be nerve racking as a player.

I was in an awesome drunk fest at the '02 Open at Bethpage. Rain delay and everyone at 17 was shitfaced and chanting and yelling. It was a great NY crowd and it happened when Sergio was still doing that grip regrip regrip regrip shit and he caught hell all day.

JUST HIT THE FUCKING BALL!!

...must be Sergio over there!

What are people's thoughts on Bubba Watson actually knowing the rules and using them to his advantage? Meaning the ball in a "goofer" hole or whatever they were saying it was.

That's what sucks about it. 200,000 showed up today so I guess you had a lot of company

I felt it was on the verge of cheating. I didn't like it. I expect that from scum like Woods but not from Watson.

Lol!

Pretty much everyone was yelling it. Holy shit, if I did that in our weekly foursome, one of you guys would wrap a club around my neck!

What happened with Bubba?....missed it today.

Cheating? Really? Commentators thought it was a good interpretation of the rule. Why he could do it because he could have gotten to the ball with his swing since he is a lefty. If he was a righty then probably he would not have been able to do it and take the drop
